Do you enjoy sharing your experiences and insights about the cultural differences between Germany and the USA? Are you currently residing in Bavaria? If so, we invite you to be part of our exciting initiative “Ask an American” that aims to foster cross-cultural understanding.

“Ask an American” is an inspiring program for German secondary schools that connects American college students with German school classes to facilitate engaging conversations on cultural differences. Through interactive discussions, you will have the opportunity to share your unique perspective, break down stereotypes, and build bridges between two diverse worlds.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a short, engaging presentation on U.S. peculiarities online or in person.
  • Share personal anecdotes and insights to provide a firsthand perspective.
  • Facilitate a Q&A session with German secondary school students.
  • Foster an open and respectful cross-cultural dialogue.
