Travel Stipends of the AGBC
The Bavarian America Academy, in cooperation with and the support of the American German Business Club (AGBC - Munich Chapter), invites emerging scholars to apply for one travel stipend for a research stay in the U.S. To qualify for the fellowship, applicants must work on a dissertation or post-doctoral project supervised at a Bavarian university and their research must have a transatlantic connection. Beyond using the time to conduct research, successful applicants are expected to pursue networking opportunities and cultivate contacts in intercultural settings. After their stay, recipients of the stipend need to submit a short report to the BAA. Read here what some of our fellows say about their experience.
Scholarship Money
A single support amount of €1,500.
