The Bavarian American Academy funds the participation of two doctoral or postdoctoral researchers affiliated with a Bavarian university in the "The Futures of American Studies Institute." The Summer Institute will take at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. The selected candidates will receive a lump sum of €1,150 to cover travel, accommodation, as well as tuition ($695 tuition and €500 travel grant).
The Futures of American Studies Institute provides a shared space of critical inquiry that brings the participants' work-in-progress to the attention of a network of influential scholars. Read here what some of our fellows say about their experience.
