U.S. Presidential Election 2024

Overview of Our Events and Offerings

On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, the election for the 60th President and Vice President of the United States of America will take place. These elections are of global political significance, as the U.S. is one of the most powerful nations in the world - both politically and economically.

Over the coming months, you will have the opportunity to expand your general knowledge of the U.S. elections and to gain a deeper insight on specific election-related topics and current developments. With our expansive offering of events and discussions, you can raise your questions to experts coming from both sides of the Atlantic and exchange ideas with them.

During the most decisive phase of the presidential election campaign, we will be placing a special focus on the domestic political framework of the U.S. with a themed week of events on the U.S. elections from Monday, October 14, to Friday, October 18, 2024, for students, teachers, and the general public. We will look at the U.S. elections from a historical perspective, shed light on the rifts between the political parties and the associated culture clashes, address the specific issues relevant to election campaigns, and analyse the formal pillars of American democracy from voting rights to the Electoral College.

We will offer teachers the opportunity to keep track of their attendance at our election events in a "U.S. Elections Education Passport," which can presumably be submitted to their schools as proof of furthering their education.

Here you will find a list of our events taking place in English that will address the 2024 U.S. Presidential Elections, both exclusively and in the context of other issues.

Further events are being planned and will be announced as soon as possible. Please switch to our German website to see the full list of events.

Here you will find a selection of events that were broadcasted and recorded as livestream videos.
