About the Directors
Małgorzata Szumowska and Michał Englert have been a writing and directing team for over 20 years. Englert also does the cinematography. Their film Body earned the Silver Bear for best director at the Berlinale in 2015. Mug also earned a Silver Bear in 2018. The duo have made several films in English and French. Never Gonna Snow Again (2020, FILMFEST MÜNCHEN 2021) premiered in Venice and was the Polish entry for the international Oscar.
