We are welcoming Prof. Daniel Ziblatt to this digital event to discuss the current state of democracy and its challenges. How resilient is the political system in the United States?

What do attacks on democracy look like and what can be done to strengthen political systems? We are looking forward to discussing these questions and more with Prof. Ziblatt.

Prof. Daniel Ziblatt, Ph.D. is Eaton Professor of the Science of Government at Harvard University and since October 2020, the new director of the Department Transformations of Democracy of the Berlin Social Science Center. His book How Democracies Die (with Steven Levitsky), is a New York Times bestseller.
