Gilder Lehrman Center for the Study of Slavery, Resistance, and Abolition at Yale University, New Haven, CT

€2,000 Grant, Summer/Fall 2023

This fellowship includes intensive participation at the Gilder Lehrman Center during the time on site. You will work closely with professors at the center. In addition, access to all libraries in Yale is provided. The grant can be used for travel or accommodation costs. The exact travel period will be coordinated with Professor David Blight at the Gilder Lehrman Center. After the fellowship, a short report must be submitted to the BAA.


Requirements

Only persons whose doctoral project or postdoctoral project is supervised at a Bavarian university can apply for the academic fellowships of the Bavarian America Academy. For further information, please contact Dr. Christoph Straub.
