Travel Stipends of the AGBC
The Bavarian America Academy, with the support of the American German Business Club (AGBC - Munich Chapter), is awarding two travel scholarships for research stays in the U.S. The applicant's project must be supervised at one of the Bavarian universities. The scholarship is especially intended to support a doctoral or post-doctoral project that has a transatlantic connection. In addition to the project-related research of the scholarship holders, contacts in the intercultural field are to be cultivated and new networks opened up.
Scholarship Money
A single support amount of €1,500.
Requirements
Students with a Master's degree are eligible to apply, which should not have been completed more than three years ago at the time of application. The research project should include questions that deal with transatlantic issues.
Preference will be given to students from the following disciplines:
- economics and social sciences
- political science
- economic geography
- law
- hstorical sciences
Ongoing funding from other sources is not a disqualifying factor for application.

- Time and work schedule for the stay in the United States
