Independent of its specific topic, this year's BAA conference features a Young Scholars’ Forum, on which Bavarian doctoral candidates can present their emerging work to an interested expert audience. While we do welcome proposals relating to the conference’s theme, such a thematic connection is not mandatory. Abstracts will be selected solely on the basis of their academic quality.

We, therefore, invite proposals (abstract of 150 words and brief CV) from doctoral scholars at Bavarian universities from the disciplines of political science, history, sociology, cultural and literary studies, law, economics, pedagogy, and geography.
