The Bavarian American Academy funds two PhD students or Postdocs to participate in the “The Futures of American Studies Institute” at Dartmouth College (Director: Professor Donald E. Pease). The Summer Institute will take place as in-person format, if the COVID-19 pandemic situation allows it. For travel and accommodation the BAA awards a scholarship of €1150 ($695 tuition and €500 travel grant).

Applications should include a brief description of the project (not more than one page), a CV, a writing sample (10-15 pages), and one letter of recommendation.
