Both graduate students and postdocs in American Studies can apply until March 17, 2023 to participate in the 12th International Summer Academy of the Bavarian American Academy (BAA). The selected participants pay only a small participation fee. Travel expenses, accommodation and the costs for the scientific and cultural program will be covered by the BAA.

The theme of this year's Summer Academy, which will take place from June 05 to June 13, 2023 at the University of Kentucky (Lexington, Kentucky, USA) is "Cultural Narratives of the State in a Comparative Perspective"
