Harvard University Post-Graduate Research Fellowships

The Bavarian American Academy and the Harvard Club of Munich e.V. invite early career researchers to apply for one of two available Post-Graduate Research Fellowship enabling them to conduct research at Harvard University.

During the research stay, fellows have access to Harvard University's libraries. Local contacts will furthermore support fellows in their research process and offer opportunities to discuss work-in-progress. The Harvard Club Munich finances the research stay of two fellows with €4,000 each. Fellows can use the grant for travel and accommodation costs. Depending on the travel period, the research stay will last for two to three months. After their stay, fellows need to submit a short report to the BAA. Requirements

The Post-Graduate Research Fellowships of the Bavarian American Academy are open to early career researchers working on a doctoral or postdoctoral project that is supervised at a Bavarian university. Research projects need to be situated in a discipline represented in the Bavarian American Academy, preferably in the fields of history, political sciences, sociology, economics, law, area studies, geography, American literary and cultural studies, or art history.
