Lights, camera, action. The red carpet will soon be rolled out at the Amerikahaus for the 41st Munich International Film Festival for the third time, which will take place from Friday, June 28, to Sunday, July 7, 2024, in select Munich cinemas and cultural institutions. After successful film festivals in 2022 and 2023, the Amerikahaus will once again be the festival center in 2024.

This year, visitors can look forward to 6 world premieres of international films, one of which, The Spoils, will premiere in the Amerikahaus. Additionally, side events at the Amerikahaus, such as film discussions that will take place during the Film Talk series, will offer a platform for direct exchange between audiences and filmmakers and is free of charge and open to all interested parties.

As a venue and meeting point for international filmmakers, visitors can look forward to numerous film screenings and the visitors' lounge in our garden, where the film scene will meet for the Beergarden Convention. The festival box office is also located in the foyer of the Amerikahaus, where tickets for all film screenings and festival events are available for purchase.
