Finally! This year's DOK.fest Munich will once again take place live. As one of the numerous venues in downtown Munich, Amerikahaus will screen eleven outstanding documentaries.

On Friday, May 6, 2022, the curtain will rise and the film "Lejos de Casa" will herald the festival time at Amerikahaus. It is a documentary about an emergency shelter in Mexico, where children and young people hope and wait for a life in the USA. Through Sunday, May 15, 2022, inspirational stories will be told in emotional pictures on the big screen of the Amerikahaus Theatersaal (theater) and selected documentaries will then be discussed on-site with contributors from the respective film.
