Human Security: Evaluating Transatlantic Diplomacy in Times of Global Crises

Saturday, February 17, 2024, 1:30 p.m. (CET)

With international tensions rising around the world, the importance of diplomatic consensus and peaceful negotiations is becoming ever more apparent. But how are these negotiations conducted and how can compromise be found? To answer this, this roundtable aims to shed light on the processes behind international agreements and the work conducted by taking a look into the transatlantic response to the rising prominence of China on the world stage. Through this, this event will enable a look into the transatlantic relationship from a practical point of view that also highlights the diplomatic procedures that enable effective cooperation between allies. Furthermore, the exchange provides an opportunity for professionals and experts alike to gain new insights through an open exchange of ideas while also enabling young professionals in their path toward more effective transatlantic cooperation.
