About this Public Panel Discussion
The Russian war of aggression on Ukraine represents a so-called “Zeitenwende” in European history. In modern communication, events are disseminated via social media without much delay. The civilian population actively participates in the distribution of information by sharing videos, pictures, or tweets.
Learning from current conflicts like the war of aggression on Ukraine and looking ahead at potential conflicts in the future, the mechanisms of communication in war will be considered. Everyone could have an influence through the acquisition and distribution of information in real time via social media on the military and political dimensions of conflicts and their course.
