An extraordinary opportunity to discuss the work of one of the leading lights of the current international art and photography scene. Mark Steinmetz will be running a workshop aimed at exploring personal styles and methods of work. It aims at helping participants understanding better the meaning and the purpose of their work and finding ways to bring clarity to their direction and intent.


About the Workshop
Deepening Your Practice is a two-day workshop in a small group with Mark Steinmetz and is open to anyone and all kinds of work. The workshop will include a lesson on the author’s work and influences. This will help students to connect more deeply to their own practice and to consider their work within a more expanded context.


The course also includes an evaluation of the students’ portfolios.


The workshop takes place on two consecutive days:
Saturday, October 14, 2017, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Sunday, October 15, 2017, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Registration fee: € 150 regular / € 100 students

About Mark Steinmetz
Mark Steinmetz is a widely acclaimed and award-winning U.S. American photographer. His works are shown in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and others. He lives in Athens, Georgia.
